Staff was great. Complaints. Were poor layout of the room. 2 adults with 3 suitcases left us no room to put or suitcases out, no room to put clothes. No garb bars in shower, no non slip on shower floor made it very slippery with nothing to hold onto.

What are some of the general tips for travellers to Penang Island during the COVID-19 outbreak?
If it's your first time travelling during COVID-19  you'll no doubt notice a few more rules and regulations in place. Follow these tips and make your trip to Penang Island go off without a hitch:
  • Before booking your flight, find out if any travel restrictions apply — in both your origin and destination. Get the latest updates by checking government travel advisories.
  • When you pass through airport screening, do not remove your face mask. You will be required to lower it briefly for identification purposes. Passengers who refuse to wear a face mask may face civil penalties and may also be escorted from the building.
  • To avoid cross-contamination, place your boarding pass on the scanner yourself and then hold it up for inspection. Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA officer.
  • You are now allowed to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on bag. This will need to be taken out for X-ray scanning.
  • To minimize handling during the screening process, place items such as your phone, keys and wallet into your carry-on rather than the bins.
  • Separate any food you're carrying for X-ray scanning. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to handle and inspect your belongings.
